At its meeting scheduled for September 16, 2025, the Accreditation Council for Nutrition Professional Education (ACNPE) will hold a hearing on whether to grant renewal accreditation for the Master’s of Science in Human Nutrition program offered by the University of Bridgeport, located in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
This notice invites written comments from various constituencies (e.g., state postsecondary education agencies; institutional accrediting agencies; staff, faculty, and students of the nutrition program under review by ACNPE; relevant nutrition professional associations) and the members of the general public who wish to offer comments on the qualifications for accreditation of the Master’s of Science in Human Nutrition program offered by the University of Bridgeport.

Public comments on the qualifications for accreditation must reference the applicable accreditation standards and policies.
Written comments must include the name, position title (when applicable), and address of the person making the submission.
Comments are reviewed by the ACNPE board of directors. Additionally, they are made available upon request to the nutrition program under review; however, the names of commenters are not provided to the program. ACNPE does not release comments to any third party.
